The Fleet Fund is an organization dedicated to helping our neighbors who need assistance when some unexpected event or personal difficulty brings them to a place of serious financial hardship. The social and economic disruptions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic have made our community painfully aware of the vulnerability of some of our neighbors. But even beyond the immediate stresses caused by this pandemic, there are always those among our neighbors who need assistance.
The Fleet Fund partners with social service agencies, educational institutions and other organizations to provide an additional, flexible and confidential source of assistance. The Fleet Fund strengthens the safety net that supports our community.
The Fleet Fund is committed to the dignity and privacy of the individual. All assistance provided by The Fleet Fund is kept strictly confidential.
Our Board Members have a love of Wellfleet and an understanding of the needs of our community. Please click on the photos for a short biography of each Board Member.
Fleet fund ambassadors are vital and engaged community members helping to share and promote the mission of the fleet fund.
